Alexandra’s US deal follows hot on the heels of fellow X Factor winner, Leona Lewis. Our friends at the record company have hinted that Alexandra is set to be even bigger than Leona in the US. Let’s hope they’re right!
The deal follows on from her record-breaking start to her music career as her version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah which became the fastest-selling single ever by a female artist and remained at No 1 for three weeks in the UK charts.
Epic Records is part of Sony, which in turn owns part of the company that Simon Cowell uses to manage his X Factor stars. The five-album deal with Epic will see her music career expand the pond to the US. Alexandra’s team will consist of people that have already helped to make Beyoncé and Rihanna household names. X Factor supremo, Simon Cowell, is already a well-known name in the US because of his judging role in American Idol, is set to oversee the US move.
Alexandra has been nominated for a best single Brit award for Hallelujah and her first album is expected to be released in November.

18 year old Pixie, has reached number 1 in the UK with her first single ‘Mama do.’ At 15 she was signed to Island def Jam in the United States by LA read and now she is signed to Mercury records in the UK.
She is being hailed as the UK’s next big thing, following in the footsteps of Duffy and Adele .
Following Bo finishing in the final four of this years’ Orange Unsigned, she is currently in the studio working on her first album with Nick Southwood Productions.
